Apart from that, what is also important is instilling anti-violence education
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture drew attention to the important role of early childhood education (PAUD) in supporting the development of human resources (HR).
“PAUD has a crucial role as a vehicle to prepare a golden generation,” the ministry’s Deputy for Coordination of Education Quality Improvement and Religious Moderation, Warsito, stated when confirmed here on Monday.
To this end, the ministry is encouraging the implementation of the Holistic Integrated Early Childhood Education (PAUD HI) policy to realize a golden and quality generation, he remarked.
“The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture is encouraging the implementation of PAUD HI, considering that this program covers many things, starting from education, health treatment, to protection for early childhood,” he said.
Warsito noted that the ministry is also strengthening coordination with regional governments and relevant stakeholders in encouraging the implementation of PAUD HI.
“We are inviting all parties, especially regional governments, to support the implementation of PAUD HI,” he stated.
In addition, the ministry is encouraging PAUD teachers to continue to explore the myriad potentials in children from an early age.
“Efforts to explore various potentials in children are crucial, so that this generation can grow to be a golden generation and future leaders of the nation,” he stated.
Warsito underscored that PAUD teachers play a very significant role in building the character of children from an early age.
He stated that the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture is encouraging PAUD teachers to continue to develop themselves and increase their knowledge in order to teach and assist children more optimally.
“Apart from that, what is also important is instilling anti-violence education, considering that PAUD also plays an important role in efforts to protect and prevent violence against children,” he noted.
