TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Jakarta Health Agency on Friday announced that the second booster vaccination, held at the City Hall will be available until the end of February 2023. The service will be open from 13:00 hours Western Indonesia Time (WIB) to 15:00 hours WIB offering two types of vaccines; Pfizer and Zifivax.
“[It will be given] to state apparatus’ (ASN), people working in media, and the general public at City Hall until February 28,” said Jakarta Health Agency’s head of surveillance, epidemiology, and immunization Ngabila Salama on Friday, January 27, 2023, Antaranews reported.
Those who are interested in having their second booster jab only need to bring with them their identity card (KTP) and register themselves through the vaccination website to redeem a code that will be scanned at the location of the vaccination.
Prior to this, the second booster jab was limited to civil servants and the general public aged 18 and over from Tuesday, January 24, to Friday, January 27, 2023, at City Hall and five administrative mayor offices.
Jakarta’s Health Agency’s records suggest around 15,000 people aged 18 years and over had received the second booster vaccine throughout the three-day vaccination from January 24 to January 26. In total, there are 190,606 people who have received the fourth dose of the vaccine up until January 27.
