Hartarto also lauded ministers and heads of institutions who have collaborated to meet the target of completing the NLE Action Plan (Renaksi).
“As of December 2022, the NLE Action Plan has reached 90.5 percent of a total of 42 action plans,” he informed in a written statement received here on Wednesday.
He informed that NLE services have been implemented at 14 seaports: Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Emas, Tanjung Perak, Belawan, Makassar, Batam, Balikpapan, Merak, Samarinda, Kendari, Dumai, Palembang, Pontianak, and Lampung.
Hartarto said that the success of NLE implementation would be determined by the integration and simplification of government service systems and collaboration in government-to-government (G2G), government-to-business (G2B), and business-to-business (B2B) services.
According to him, the government also needs to ensure that business actors or service users benefit from the utilization of NLE services that are being offered.
One of the NLE services, namely the Quarantine Customs Single Submission (SSm QC), applied in the joint-inspection process of Customs and Quarantine succeeded in cutting total inspection time by up to 22.37 percent and saving 33.48 percent or Rp191.32 billion in costs.
The minister pushed for quick completion of the arrangement of container terminal zoning, synchronization of rail and container lines at ports, as well as resolution of cross-ministry/institutional issues related to the implementation and development of the NLE.
“Synergy and collaboration are the key because maintaining economic resilience and ensuring the achievement of economic growth targets requires the cooperation and hard work of all stakeholders. Thus, collaboration is the important key to succeed the NLE implementation,” Hartarto added.
